ISO 100 / 74mm / f2.8 / 30 sec

Originally erected in the year 1168 and known as the famous floating torii gate, the Itsukushima Jinja Torii Gate stands over 16 metres tall and is situated 200 metres from shore, making it inaccessible by foot during high tide.

Itsukushima shrine is located on the island of Miyajima, which is only accessible via boat.
Light trails from the passenger ferries can be seen behind the Torri Gate, as hundreds of daily tourists and pilgrims return to the mainland of Hiroshima.
