After parking on the narrow and winding Te Anga road and walking 10 minutes through a dense patch of forest, the reveal of the majestic 35 metre tall Marokopa Falls is nothing short of extraordinary.

Continuing to walk down the unkept path, moulded by those who came before, leads you down towards the Marokopa river at the base of the waterfall. Despite capturing this image approximately 100m away from the base of the waterfall, the crashing of water was so strong that after a few minutes, I was soaked by the mist.
